Lasse holds a M.Sc. degree in physics from Aarhus University specializing in time-resolved photoluminescence of thin films capable of upconverting infrared light. The aim was to improve efficiency in solar cells.

Lasse entered the world of IPR in 2016 when he began working as a patent attorney with Patrade A/S. Concurrently with his daily work, Lasse has taken courses in patent application drafting, patent law and database search.

At the beginning of 2018 Lasse finished the two-year CEIPI basic training course in European Patent Law as part of his training towards becoming a European Patent Attorney.

Lasse has worked with novelty search, patent application drafting and has also experience with patent surveillance.
