Morten has many years of experience with Danish, European, US and Eurasian patent law. He has gained patent experience through both patent attorney firms and in the industry.

Mortens expertise spans from novelty searches, patentability assessments, drafting and prosecution of patent applications to freedom-to-operate assessments and patent landscape analyses in a variety of different technical areas. In addition, Morten has substantial experience in participation in oral proceedings before the patent offices, including both opposition and appeal.

Education and practical experience
Morten holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry-Biotechnology from Aarhus University. Han completed his Ph.d. and postdoc work at Institute of Biomedicine at Aarhus University, where he also was employed as Associate Professor, before he started in the patent business in 2008. After working at various patent attorney firms and as an in-house patent manager in a large Danish company, he joined Patrade as patent attorney in 2020.

Morten is currently training to become a European Patent Attorney.
